Summer's Inspiration

so for me the summer is the perfect time to stretch your stylistic preference. Are you into a laid back style. Do you prefer shorts, skirts, or dresses? Is it really worth your money to invest in those sandal heels you know you will only wear once, post on Instagram then hide it in the closet? (Conclusion: It wasn't). Or are you going to go with the nice and reliable floral pattern?

Summer fashion is the perfect time to experiment with your style. The 90's truly inspires me here are some of my looks that were inspired by fashionista's in the 90's and movies/tv shows that showed their fashion choices, as if that wasn't enough i'm also going to show off some fashion choices for the summer that coincide with the two looks.

The first look is from the movie "Clueless" Its my favorite scene where the girls are at gym and talking to their "arch nemesis" in the show. Not only was the actual commentary in the film absolute gold.

I was in love with how many outfits were made through the simply colors or white and black and how each look wasn't done in a tacky manner. On the Right I got my tube top from Urban Outfitters, the thigh-highs from H&M and the Skirt from Forever 21. I wore White vans, but would of preferred a sandal type shoe like below to tie the outfit together.

A line that I absolutely adore is Ruffian 2015 Spring/Summer line these two pieces below are absolutely breathtaking they take in the chic look of Wednesday Adam's meets the clueless 90's scene to recreate this look.

The Second Look airs with an unforgettable character on T.V. and Voice.....

The Nanny Holds the Award for some of the best fashion choices of the 90's Fran was an inspiration showing off her mid-drift and legs and still holding together fashionable pieces. I recreated her white on white from American Apparel, but paired it with a jean jacket from the thrift store and Doc Martins.
Just to take a peak.....
Fran was a great inspiration to the gem's you can find int he Thrift Store.

Mochino's Spring/Summer 15 look on the runway reminded us of some very "Fran" Meets Barbie Pieces.
